September 14, 2007, Newsletter Issue #58: Online Master of Science In Nursing Courses

Tip of the Week

When deciding that you want to earn your Master of Science in Nursing, you may consider an online program. Online programs are excellent for MSN candidates, because they are flexible and work with your schedule. Most MSN degrees, online or traditional, will allow you to specialize in one or more areas of nursing, such as cardiovascular, nursing education, nursing informatics, nursing management/leadership, and adult nurse practitioners.

When looking into online MSN degrees, check to see what the school's requirements are on clinical learning; some will allow you to complete your clinical training at the facility of your choice, and others may make you come to their campus or a facility of their choice.
